Welcome to Macaroni Kid - the place to find this week's family fun!

June 30, 2015
Happy 4th!  Welcome to Macaroni Kid and thanks for joining us.  We are here to help you find family friendly things to do in Buncombe County. If you are looking for places to see fireworks and celebrate the 4th be sure check this out.

There are so many things in our area that are fun for families...so many in fact that it makes the newsletter very full. If you are looking for something to do on a specific day just check our event calendar and if you are looking to plan your weekend go to the calendar listings for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.   Please know that I do my best to get event times correct but I realize that there have been a few mistakes lately.  Please accept my apology and know that I will continue to do the best I can to bring you information on events that are fun for your families.

Did you know that your child can bowl 3 games a day for free? It's in the Summer Fun Guide.  Here is the link. When you are looking for things to do don't forget to check the  2015 Summer Fun Guide. Hoping that this will be a great resource for your family this summer. There's listings for the playgrounds around town, festivals in the area, reading programs, and so much more!  Just click on the Summer Fun Guide logo on the right side of the newsletter and it will take you directly there.

...Check out our newly created Facebook Event Page.  We will be adding events as the summer goes along.  Be sure to tell your friends.

Each week we are here for families in Buncombe County with fun, family friendly things to do.  Be sure to check the calendar often as I add to it as new things come to my attention. It can be time consuming to find things to do as a family.  Hopefully, Asheville Macaroni Kid has helped! If you have an event that you would like to include on our calendar click here. I will get back with you. And if you are traveling and want to see if there is a Macaroni Kid in that area click on our National Macaroni Kid page and use the drop down box on the top right side of the page where it says "Find Your Town".

See those businesses listed on the side of the newsletter?  Not only do these business offer fun, great classes and products they are also the businesses that help bring Macaroni Kid to you each week at no charge.  Each local ad is included by me and therefore I can assure you they are safe to click through.

Just a reminder, don't miss out on the Kids Eat Free (or Cheap) and Mom Connections. I do my best to get the information correct but I recommend you call before going, just to be sure that the Kids Eat Free is still on. If you have found the link on another site please check to see that it is a current list.

Have a great week.
Sandy
