Welcome to Macaroni Kid - the place to find this week's family fun!

November 30 - December 6, 2016

November 29, 2016
Are you excited about the holidays?  Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. I am sure as December 25th grows closer your children (and maybe you) will be getting more and more excited.  But in the meantime, if you are looking for things to do with the family you have come to the right place. There are so many "holiday" events this week and they are included in the newsletter but there are more events too. I would suggest you call or check the website before you go just to be sure that everything is still a go. For a quick look for Christmas events, we have Zaniac to thanks for sponsoring Parade dates and On-Going Christmas events. For a complete list of events check the CALENDAR.

I do love this time of year. I like the excitement of getting ready for the holidays. We have giveaways and lots of fun for you this week.
  • Santa will be at both the Asheville Outlet Mall and the Asheville Mall to take pictures with the kids.
  • Congrats to Sarah M. and Jennifer L. for winning tickets to the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker and to Kandi H. for winning the Snowbound tickets at ACT.
  • We have tickets for Shadrack's to giveaway again this week.
  • We have a listing of Nutcracker's ballets.
  • Just for fun try the String Cheese Reindeer.  Your kids will love it.
  • Don't miss the holiday letter "from" a Child with Autism.
  • There are lots of articles after all the event listings. If you are looking for a way to share with others this season check out Sharing with others over the Holidays.  Eblen Charities will be collecting toys at the Ingles across from the Dairy Queen on Tunnel Road starting this Thursday.
My goal is to give you more time to spend with your family by finding events.Take a few minutes (or longer) to see what is offered this week.  If there is something you want to add to your calendar, click the "My Macaroni" button and you will be able to save it and refer back to it later.
See those businesses listed on the side of the newsletter?  Not only do these business offer fun, great classes and products they are also the businesses that help bring Macaroni Kid to you each week at no charge.  Each local ad is included by me and therefore I can assure you they are safe to click through.

I do my best to get the information correct but I recommend you call before going, just to be sure that the Kids Eat Free is still on. If you have found the link on another site please check to see that it is a current list.

Every effort is made to have events we list up to date but things do change so we encourage you to take a minute and call ahead to confirm so there are no disappointed kids (or moms).  While we try to be careful in what we include we are not able to personally check out each event.
