Join Play & Learn for infants and toddlers. Parents/caregivers and children 3 months - 35 months in Buncombe County, who are not in regulated child care, are invited to attend a series of free Play and Learn sessions. There will be one infant (3-12mo) and two toddler (13-35 months) series offered. Each 45 minute session focuses on pre-literacy skills for children and educational information for parents. Activities include songs, puppets, dance, games, hands-on activities, music instruments and crafts. Children who are new to the program receive a book each week.
Where: Asheville City Schools Preschool, 441 Haywood Road, West Asheville.
When: Infant Classes: Tuesday at 10:30am; August 5-September 16, 2014
Toddler Classes (13-23 months): Thursday 10 am August 7th-September 18, 2014
Toddler Classes (24-35 months): Thursday 11 am August 7th-September 18, 2014
How: Registration is required and begins for new participants on July 21, 2014. Returning participants may register beginning July 23, 2014.
