Welcome to Asheville Macaroni Kid - the place to find family fun!

January 20, 2015
Welcome to Macaroni Kid and thanks for joining us.  Each week we are here for families in Buncombe County with fun, family friendly things to do.  Be sure to check the calendar often as I add to it as new things come to my attention. It can be time consuming to find things to do as a family.  Hopefully, Asheville Macaroni Kid has helped!  And if you are traveling and want to see if there is a Macaroni Kid in that area click on our National Macaroni Kid page and use the drop down box on the left side of the page where it says "Find Your Town".

Highlights for this week...
...A parenting class called "Becoming a Love and Logic Parenting Workshop" offered by Beth Hockman.  Be sure to read the reviews from parents that have taken the classes!  Beth is offering a giveaway for a free workshop.  Drawing tomorrow!
...If you love French Toast as much as I do here is a recipe you will want to try.
...Create a Blizzard - sounds like a fun activity for the kiddos.  I would much rather have this kind of a blizzard than the real thing, wouldn't you?
...Articles for activities for winter days, Fun in the Snow and what to do when schools close can all be found in the lower section of the newsletter.

See those businesses listed on the side of the newsletter?  Not only do these business offer fun, great classes and products they are also the businesses that help bring Macaroni Kid to you each week at no charge.  Each local add is included by me and therefore I can assure you they are safe to click through.

Just a reminder, don't miss out on the Kids Eat Free (or Cheap) and Mom Connections. I do my best to get the information correct but I recommend you call before going, just to be sure that the Kids Eat Free is still on. If you have found the link on another site please check to see that it is a current list.

Have fun this week and enjoy your family!
Sandy
