All camps will be held at Asheville Music School, 126 College St., Asheville, NC 28801.
Auditions are required for all camps, except where noted. Call to schedule your audition time. A video audition may be acceptable. Auditions are for placement purposes only, so AMS teachers can assess the students’ skills and can place them in the correct ensembles. Students already enrolled in music lessons at AMS may be exempt from auditions.
June 15-19, Rock Band Camp
Ages 9-17
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm, with before and after-care available.
Intermediate-advanced skill levels are welcome. Students will learn and perform different styles of rock music in a team-oriented, fun, and supportive ensemble environment. $335, price includes recording experience and showcase performance.
June 22-26, Pop Rock Camp w/ Gabrielle Tee
Ages 12-17
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm, with before and after-care available.
Intermediate-advanced skill levels are welcome. Students will learn and perform different styles of pop rock music in a team-oriented, fun, and supportive ensemble environment. $335, price includes recording experience and showcase performance.

Ages: 9-17

July 20-24, Suzuki Splash Camp
Ages 5 and up, beginners welcome
Time: Beginners: 9:00am-12:00pm. Intermediate: 9:00am-3:00pm
Learn violin, viola, and cello through the Suzuki Method.
Beginners: $175 (9:00am-12:00pm) Intermediate: $305 (9:00am-3:00pm)
Price includes showcase performance(s). No placement audition needed
July 27-31, Jazz Camp w/ Lloyd Weinberg and Nancy Simmons
Ages 9-17
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm, with before and after-care available
Students will learn and perform different styles of jazz music in a team-oriented, fun, and supportive ensemble environment. $335, price includes recording experience and showcase performance.
