Black Light Show at William W. Estes Elementary

By Asheville Mac Kid April 11, 2019

The lights will be off but there will be plenty to see! Each year, audiences are dazzled by the colorful Black Light Show of W.W. Estes Elementary School and this year will be no exception. Students performed for their peers this week in anticipation of the performances Thursday, April 11 at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

This year's 45-minute performance features popular show tunes and is entitled "...And The Black Light Show Must Go On!"

The show is free and open to the public, but donations can be made to help build a music garden in the memory of beloved music teacher Janie Belue who passed away last summer. The Black Light show was started 12 years ago by Mr. Lane, Mrs. Belue, and Mr. Miller, a former PE teacher.

Estes Elementary is at 275 Overlook Rd., Asheville, NC 28803. For more information visit Estes online.
