Ask any parent and they'll probably agree: the days can sometimes be so long, but the years they just fly by. I think that's why I'm obsessed with pictures. I know one day they're going to get big and move out of the house, and I'll give anything to have these moments back.

I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Natalie Johanik who instantly makes you feel comfortable upon meeting her. A mom of three boys herself, she totally gets it. She is great with kids and has a warm and genuine personality. From our first chats about what everyone would be wearing to being super flexible about time and location given the rainy weather, it was a wonderful experience having our family Christmas photos taken. Plus, it's a nice bonus as a Mom to actually be IN the photos instead of just behind the camera.

Originally from Australia, Natalie moved to Asheville in 2021 with her family after a job opportunity brought her husband (originally from Wisconsin) here. She shared that she's always "had an interest in lifestyle and real estate photography." She believes "there is no greater honor than documenting life's most precious moments as [she] loves connecting with families and capturing their unique story of love and connection."
