Review:

In an Arden neighborhood setting, you'll find this park my daughter affectionately refers to as the "castle park."

The public bathrooms and covered picnic pavilion are conveniently located in close proximity to the playground. You can choose to walk down two sets of stairs to enter or there is a longer, winding path that brings you down to the playground itself.

When the weather is nice and particularly on weekends, this is a popular spot for birthday parties.

One of the more unique features to this park is the track ride.

There are a variety of swing options.

There are multiple slides and benches.

There is a smaller castle section of the playground designated as the "Tot Lot" that is geared towards the toddler crowd.

Looking at the picture above, you can see the difference in slide height and length between the two sections of the playground.

My little guy especially enjoys crawling through the tunnels and there are beginner monkey bars as well.

These colorful monkey bars are higher up.

There is a mini stage with wooden bleacher seating.

While the castle design is what makes this park so awesome, it is worth mentioning that the wooden structure design makes visibility a bit more limited than say a more open concept park.

There is also a nice court to practice shooting hoops on the other end of the parking lot.
