Review:
In Woodfin, you'll find this cute playground with the highlight being the pirate ship.
Toddlers can easily walk up the ramp while older kids can challenge themselves with the rock wall on one side or climbing rope on the other to reach the slide. Once aboard, you'll find musical instruments to play along with a steering wheel.
There are open holes that toddlers will enjoy climbing in and out of while their older siblings or friends might try the monkey bars.
There are tunnels to explore along with logs to practice your balance.
There is a fun swing.
It is important to note that the ground surface is rubber along with sections of small pebbles in case you have a child who is quick to put things in his/her mouth.
There is a nice covered pavilion with picnic tables and a lovely view of the river.
Walking down closer to the water, you'll find this swinging bench that makes for the perfect spot to enjoy this park.
Train loving kiddos might be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse or hear the sounds of the Craggy Mountain Line.
