OSEGA Opens State-of-the-Art OCR Training Center in Fletcher, NC
Fletcher, NC – [Wednesday April 2] – OSEGA is proud to announce the grand opening of its Triumph OCR Training Center on April 19, 2025 at its facility in Fletcher, North Carolina.
Obstacle course racing, or OCR, combines trail running with negotiating obstacles that test everything from strength to balance to coordination. The OSEGA training center is designed to provide athletes of all levels with the coaching and resources they need to excel in the fast-growing sport.
Triumph features a wide range of obstacles found in OCR events, including: Olympus, Weaver, walls, high and low rigs, rope climbs and more. While learning how to manage obstacles safely is critical to an athlete’s success, so too are the soft skills of OCR racing - strategy, endurance, mindset and motivation. Triumph coaches will support athletes to develop both sides of this skill set and prepare them for everything from a local race such as Bear Crawl, a Spartan Race, or a World Championship event.

"This facility is designed to help beginner through elite racers to train technique, build confidence, and establish a lasting level of fitness, all while becoming a part of this amazing and supportive OCR community" says Bethany Palma, director of Triumph. Palma is a world class OCR racer, finishing eighth in her division at the 2024 World Championships. She couples that experience and skill with a deep passion to help athletes learn, excel and exceed their own expectations.

Triumph will have after school programs, summer camps and classes for youth, while adults will have a variety of options such as OCR Movement and Fundamentals, conditioning, and open rig. Triumph will also host workshops, race simulations, and competitions throughout the year, making it a hub for OCR enthusiasts in Western North Carolina and beyond.
OSEGA and Triumph invite the public to celebrate the grand opening with an open house event on April 19, 2025 from 12-3PM, where attendees can tour the facility, try out selected obstacles, and meet the expert coaching team.
