The magic of Christmas…lights, music, and the wonder in children’s eyes. Well, if you are looking for lights and music Shadracks’s Christmas Wonderland is something you don’t want to miss. Hundreds of thousands of lights are programmed to perform with music.
Asheville is fortunate to be one of the six locations where this Christmas Wonderland is found. Located at the Western NC Agricultural Center (Fairgrounds), 1301 Fanning Bridge Rd in Fletcher you will be able to enjoy the show from November 25th through December 30th. Hours of operation are from dusk – 10pm every night – including Holidays and even in the rain. The weekends are very popular nights to visit the light show so lines may be long.
Tickets are purchased on-site from the comfort of your car. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Cost is $20 for a car or family van.
Our family went twice last year and enjoyed it both times. My favorite was the Halleluiah Chorus. The music was beautiful and the lights were spectacular. Each year is a different show but if you would like to get a glimpse of what you will see click here to see some videos from past years.
