I love garage sales and I should have a garage sale of my own but where do I get the time for either of those? Here is a solution to that problem. VarageSale! It’s an online garage sale where you can sell or buy your new and gently used items with your community.
Tami Zuckerman, the founder of VarageSale, collaborated with her husband to create something more user friendly than classified sites or social networks. With VarageSale you can buy items at a fraction of the retail price, earn some extra cash by selling unused items (who couldn’t use that especially around Christmas) and it’s completely free to use. Here’s how it works:

· Sign up to the community that is closest to where you live.
· Your admin will review your request.
· Once accepted you can buy or sell items (you can even customize the categories you care about)
· To sell you can write a description and take a picture, set a price and post.
· To buy all you need to do is comment on the item; send a private message to the seller so you can work out the details.
The more people shopping and posting the more local your experience will be.
