2014 Summer Food Program Feed Kids for Free

This summer, (June 16-August 8) free meals will be served at various Park and Library locations through out Buncombe County to any child under age 18.  There are no income requirements or registration.  Lunch will be served Monday through Friday at 11:30.

Meal sites for 2014 –

Erwin Community Pool – 58 Lees Creek Rd., Asheville

Hominy Valley Pool – 25 Twin Lake Rd., Candler

North Buncombe Pool – 892 Clarks Chapel Rd., Weaverville

Owen Pool – 117 Stone Drive, Swannanoa

Pack Memorial library Children Services – 67 Haywood St., Asheville

Fairview Library – Taylor Rd., Fairview

Weaverville Library – Main St., Weaverville

West Asheville Library – Haywood Road, West Asheville

North Asheville Library – Merrimon Ave., Asheville

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Buncombe County Library, Recreation and Culture Department, to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.
