Kids are crafting an unforgettable experience this summer at AR Workshop! 

With half-day, morning or afternoon, camps running from June 12th - August 17th, you are sure to find a theme that appeals to every "AR"tist (ages 6-17). These camps are designed to promote creativity and hands-on STEAM learning in a fun and social environment.

Summer camps at Asheville Junior Theater are a great way for kids (ages 4-18) to try acting, singing or dancing. 

AJT offers half-day and full-day camps running weekly from July 17th - August 4th with exciting themes such as Matilda the Musical, The Addams Family, and Broadway Musical Mash-Up. Whether it's to improve their talents in preparation for our fall show, or to simply join us for some summer fun, your junior actor is welcome here!

Whether your child is beginning their musical journey, enhancing their skills, or wanting to try a new instrument, Asheville Music School offers half-day and full-day camps for kids (ages 4-18) running weekly from June 12th - August 11th. Each week focuses on a fun theme with different age groups, instruments, and musical styles.

The Asheville School of Film is offering summer camps for tweens and teens (ages 12-18) with an interest in filmmaking at all skill levels. There are half-day and full day weekly options from June 12th - August 11th.

With morning and afternoon sessions running June 12th - July 7th, Asheville Youth Sailing offers aspiring sailors (ages 5-18) a chance to get out on the water and have fun.

Bricks 4 Kidz offers half-day (morning or afternoon) and full-day camps for kids (ages 4+) running from June 12th through to August 25th. 

Does your child enjoy building with LEGO® bricks? Through these amazing summer camps,  they can experience hands-on engineering fundamentals as they build motorized models that introduce them to engineering, architecture, and scientific principles while developing problem solving and critical thinking skills.

With nearly 200 acres in the cool Allegheny Mountains near the border of Virginia and West Virginia, Camp Twin Creeks welcomes your camper to join its lifelong community of summer campers.

From arts and sports to water and adventure, Camp Twin Creeks is where friendships flourish, childhood thrives and independence grows! By unplugging from technology and the distractions of everyday life, campers are able to connect with new friends and mentors, try new things, and develop confidence and independence.

Their half-day summer camps run weekly from June 12th - August 25th and are a great opportunity for baseball and softball athletes (ages 6-13) to learn and develop new skills while having a fun time.

Their instructors will work on fundamentals and advanced techniques adjusting to every skill set. Areas covered will be fielding, hitting, throwing, and base running.

Firefly Valley Pottery Camp is a home-based pottery camp in West Asheville that runs from 10 AM - 4 PM Monday-Friday. Camp runs from June 12-August 11th, 2023. Artists ages 5-12 are welcomed to be campers and there is a helper program (50% off tuition) for ages 12-16 with application/references. We have a $50 sibling discount for full tuition artists. 

Each morning, we hand build with clay and in the afternoons, we have one-on-one pottery wheel throwing lessons with a teacher. Other arts activities like wooden sculpture, acrylic painting, needle felting, cooking/baking and slip-n-slide are offered in the afternoon as well.

With full day camps running from June 19th - August 11th, horse lovers (ages 6+) are sure to have a summer to remember at Full Moon Equestrian. They will start each day with horse care and barn chores. Later, they'll split into groups for activities such as riding, presentations from local horse experts, horsemanship skills, horse and barn related games and activities along with creative time.

With half day camps (extended hours available) running from June 12th - August 25th, aspiring ninjas, ages 5-12, are encouraged to get their energy out through running, climbing, swinging, and jumping. Through a mixture of gymnastics, martial arts, and Parkour, Ninjaville Obstacle Training also helps to build life skills like respect, manners, and work ethic.

With half day camps running from June 26th - July 21st, kids (ages 6-12) are encouraged to develop confidence along with strength of mind and body at Summit Crossfit. They can enjoy an introduction to basic weightlifting, gymnastics, crafts, and games.

Voted #1 Kids Summer Camp for the past ten years (Best of WNC), Sun Soo Martial Arts camps provide fun, fitness, and focus for kids ages 5-11. 

With camps running from 9 AM – 3 PM (extended hours also available) from June 12^th to August 18^th, your child can enjoy martial arts instruction, scenic hikes, structured outdoor play, arts and crafts, science experiments, team-building, and leadership activities.

Learn to code apps in one week with Swift App School! This summer camp is designed for middle and high school students (ages 13 - 18) and runs June 26-30 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Hatch Innovation Hub on South French Broad Ave. 

Teens will learn to build native apps and games for the iPhone and iPad and develop their own coding super power. No prior coding knowledge required.

Imaginative kids can create, explore, and play in high energy, low-pressure summer camps for rising 1st-8th graders running July 17th - August 4th. These half-day, full day, and even evening week-long camps in downtown Asheville expand minds, build life skills through the arts, and celebrate the creative spark in every child. With a new focus every week, kids are welcome to attend multiple camps.
